Set Achieveable Goals and Gradually Lose Weight

By Paul Vann Do you honestly believe you can lose weight over night? The answer to that question is no. I would like to lose 25 pounds right now, but my like will not be satisfied. How about you? Do you plan to lose weight or do you simply say, I will get to it later. Life being demanding as it is, it is wise to set goals to lose weight overwise it will not happen for you. How do I know this? Over the course of the past five years I gained a lot of weight. What was so strange about my weight gain was the fact, I worked out five days a week. In my case I discovered my metabolism was slowing down even though I was consuming the same amount of calories. Had I monitored my caloric intake closer, Likelihood is I would not have gained weight. My poor eating habits contributed to my weight gain and through it all, the only thing I needed to do was prepare better meal plans and stop eating late at night. It takes 21 days to start a new habit. Take the challenge, plan your meals with an eye on your caloric intake. Exercise moderately, get plenty of sleep and and enjoy the results you will receive because it works. Now that Spring has sprung, I am walking with my wife and children each day to take in the fresh air and exercise my body. I know you can achieve your fitness goals and it will come as a result of the goals you set for yourself.
